Summary

Engineering Technician in Singapore supports testing, equipment validation, prototyping, and manufacturing workflows for a medical device company.

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. The candidate will provide support to engineering operations, primarily focusing on engineering testing, equipment & process validation, manufacturing support, product development, technical documentation, hands-on prototyping & troubleshooting, and continuous optimization of manufacturing workflow. This position is only available for our subsidiary, Nextkidney SG located in Singapore.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Support engineering change activities and documentation

  • Support the development of jigs, fixtures, and prototypes.

  • Support manufacturing & warehouse operation.

  • Execute engineering testing and protocols.

  • Assist in the troubleshooting of product, process, and equipment failure.

  • Execute and define routine maintenance for tools & equipment.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineer to optimize & improve assembly processes and reduce cycle time.

  • Facilitates end-to-end procurement process for engineering department, such as the issuance of Purchase Orders (PO), preparation of Material Requisitions (MR) and keeping track of Delivery Order (DO) and inventory.

  • Engineering measurement, data collection and analysis.

  • Maintain audit-ready records of equipment and maintenance logs.

  • Any other appropriate duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in a relevant Engineering discipline
  • Fresh grads are welcome to apply. 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
  • Critical thinking with growth mindset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and time management abilities
  • Collaborative team player who can operate with autonomy
  • Knowledge in standard chemical laboratory techniques
  • Experience in regulated medical device industry is a plus
  • Knowledge in operating 3D printer and laser cutter, CAD 3D modelling and 2D drafting is a plus
