Engineering Technologist- Electrical Systems, Technical Support

What are your contributions to the team?

- Providing technical support for Challenger 3XX and 6XX aircraft to both external and internal customers regarding electrical system issues.

- Supporting change requests related to in-service issues and working with Engineering and Program Management throughout the change implementation process.

- Monitoring fleet reliability, identifying technical issues, and implementing corrective actions.

- Coordinating technical inquiries and support requests for fleet operators within the group.

- Preparing technical presentations and communications on topics related to your area of responsibility.

How to thrive in this role?

- Good knowledge of aircraft electrical systems.

- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant aviation experience.

- Experience with Challenger aircraft platforms is considered an asset.

- Strong communication skills in both English and French, with the ability to write technical articles and technical reports/notes in English.

- Must be willing to carry a company cellphone/on-call phone and be available to travel occasionally on short notice.

- Must be a team player, able to work effectively with colleagues and customers, maintain a positive attitude, and be results-oriented.

- Ability to work under pressure in Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support situations.

- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
