English Drama CCA Instructor (MOE Schools)

Job Description

Journey To Growth Pte. Ltd. is looking for passionate and energetic Drama Facilitators / Actors to join our education team for a Ministry of Education (MOE) school enrichment programme.

Successful candidates will perform in an educational theatre production and facilitate engaging drama workshops for Primary 6 students.

Responsibilities

• Perform in a live English theatre production.
• Conduct interactive drama workshops.
• Facilitate discussions and reflection activities after the performance.
• Encourage student participation and confidence.
• Work collaboratively with the production team.
• Prepare rehearsal materials and attend rehearsals.
• Maintain professionalism while working in MOE schools.
• Ensure student safety and positive classroom management.

Requirements

Essential

• Diploma or Degree in Theatre, Drama, Performing Arts, Education or related field.
• Strong command of spoken English.
• Experience performing on stage.
• Experience teaching or facilitating children is an advantage.
• Able to engage large groups of students confidently.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience conducting MOE enrichment programmes.
• Experience in educational theatre.
• Experience working with Primary School students.
• Knowledge of classroom management.
• First Aid Certification (preferred).
• MOE Instructor Registration (if applicable).

Working Hours

Approximately 2 hours per session, excluding rehearsal.
