Enrolled Nurse (EN) of Pediatrics

The Enrolled Nurse of Pediatrics is a key member of the hospital clinical team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, he / she delivers safe, competent, individualized patient centred holistic care to an optimum level by utilizing nursing process. Provides nursing care to Paediatric patients with care needs ranging from basic to complex, is responsible for and held accountable for his/her own actions.

Education and Experience profile:

• Must have a Certificate in Enrolled Nursing or Enrolled Comprehensive Nursing or its equivalent from recognized institution.
• Must be registered with the Uganda Nurses & Midwives Council.
• Post-Basic Diploma in Child Health (Paediatric) Nursing preferred.
• Must have at least three (3) years of work experience in big Hospitals (RRH or private facilities), in Uganda or abroad.
• Minimum one (1) year of work experience in pediatric/nursery ward.
