Enterprise Account Executive - Insurance

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive - Insurance based in the United States.

This is a high-ownership enterprise sales role focused on driving revenue growth across the insurance industry.
You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline development through negotiation and close.
The role combines consultative selling, strategic account development, and complex multi-stakeholder deal execution.
You’ll engage senior decision-makers and help insurance organizations address mission-critical workflow and operational challenges.
As an early member of the enterprise sales team, you’ll have meaningful influence over sales strategy, messaging, playbooks, and go-to-market execution.
You’ll work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership to bring customer insights back into the business.

Accountabilities:

  • Enterprise pipeline generation: Prospect and develop new enterprise accounts across the insurance industry using email, phone, LinkedIn, referrals, conferences, and other relevant channels; continuously test and refine targeting, messaging, and outbound strategies.
  • Full-cycle sales ownership: Manage opportunities from initial outreach and qualification through discovery, demonstrations, negotiation, and close, while maintaining strong pipeline coverage and sales discipline.
  • Consultative selling: Conduct thoughtful discovery to uncover customer challenges, business priorities, and buying requirements, then position solutions around measurable customer value.
  • Complex deal execution: Navigate enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, senior decision-makers, technical considerations, and potentially significant contract values.
  • Customer presentations: Deliver compelling, tailored demos and presentations that communicate complex products clearly and resonate with different audiences across insurance organizations.
  • Sales strategy and process development: Help build and refine enterprise sales playbooks, positioning, messaging, qualification processes, and repeatable approaches for winning within the insurance market.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to communicate customer needs and influence product direction, while working with marketing on campaigns, demand generation, launches, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Industry engagement: Build relationships across the insurance ecosystem and represent the business at relevant conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities to generate awareness and qualified pipeline.
  • Revenue ownership: Consistently manage toward quota and revenue objectives while maintaining accurate forecasting, strong opportunity management, and a high standard of execution.
  • Market insight: Develop a deep understanding of insurance industry challenges, buying dynamics, competitive considerations, and emerging opportunities to strengthen enterprise sales strategy.
  • Requirements

    • Enterprise sales experience: Proven experience selling enterprise SaaS into the insurance industry, or deep insurance industry experience in a commercial, revenue-generating role.
    • Complex deal experience: Demonstrated experience managing enterprise opportunities with deal values in the range of $100K–$1M+ ARR.
    • Quota achievement: A strong track record of exceeding or consistently achieving targets in quota-carrying sales roles.
    • Insurance expertise: Strong understanding of the insurance industry, its operating models, customer needs, and commercial environment.
    • Consultative selling: Ability to uncover complex business problems, build trusted relationships, articulate value, and influence senior stakeholders throughout the buying process.
    • Pipeline generation: Hands-on experience building pipeline through outbound prospecting and developing new enterprise accounts.
    • Communication and storytelling: Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
    • Executive presence: Confidence engaging senior leaders and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise buying processes.
    • Builder mindset: Comfortable operating without a fully established playbook and motivated by the opportunity to shape sales processes, strategy, and go-to-market execution.
    • Resilience and adaptability: Highly motivated, persistent, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities and processes may evolve.
    • Customer orientation: Genuine curiosity about customer problems and the ability to translate those challenges into compelling business solutions.
    • Preferred: An established network within the insurance industry, experience selling complex or technical products, and experience generating pipeline through industry conferences.
    • Preferred: Background with a high-growth B2B SaaS or InsurTech organization.
