Enterprise Architect - Epicor Kinetic
- Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment between Epicor Kinetic, business strategy, and wider IT objectives.
- Act as the architectural authority for Epicor Kinetic, governing solution design, customisation strategy, and platform evolution.
- Establish enterprise architecture principles, standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across application, integration, and data domains.
- Design and oversee integration architecture between Epicor Kinetic and connected systems including PLM, MES, finance platforms, data warehouses, and engineering applications.
- Define enterprise integration standards covering APIs, authentication, messaging, event-driven architecture, error handling, and monitoring.
- Lead the development of enterprise data architecture, governance frameworks, and master data strategies across business-critical systems.
- Facilitate architecture workshops and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, and IT teams to shape future-state solutions.
- Evaluate new technologies, applications, and technical proposals to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and long-term strategy.
- Maintain architectural documentation, system interaction diagrams, standards, roadmaps, and decision registers.
- Provide architectural assurance, governance, and technical leadership across ERP and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or senior technical leader within a complex ERP environment.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Epicor Kinetic, including Epicor ICE Framework, BPMs, BAQs, Epicor Functions, and upgrade-safe customisation approaches.
- Experience defining enterprise architecture standards across application, integration, and data domains.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, REST APIs, middleware platforms, and service-oriented architectures.
- Technical knowledge of C#, .NET, SQL Server, authentication frameworks, and modern cloud-based technologies.
- Experience with data architecture, data modelling, governance, master data management, and ERP data structures.
- Ability to engage, influence, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to balance immediate business needs against long-term strategic objectives.
