Enterprise Architect
Owns the end-to-end technical architecture across all workstreams. Acts as the single point of architectural authority ensuring solutions are consistent, secure, and scalable across AWS and Microsoft-based environments, and arbitrates trade-offs between teams working on parallel builds.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the target-state architecture spanning AWS (Bedrock, Fargate, Lambda, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, S3) and Azure (AI Foundry, Document Intelligence) environments.
- Set integration standards for Microsoft Graph API/Teams-based delivery channels used across chatbot, translation, and document-processing services.
- Review and approve designs to ensure reusable patterns (callback/consumer mechanisms, notification handlers, session/context storage) are not duplicated across builds.
- Evaluate integration options where core business systems restrict API access or screen scraping, and recommend viable architectural workarounds.
- Represent technical architecture in governance forums and in scoping discussions for new builds.
- Define non-functional requirements: security, data residency, exactly-once processing guarantees, and disaster recovery across a multi-site delivery model.
- 10+ years in enterprise/solution architecture, including 3+ years designing GenAI/agentic systems in production.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of AWS Bedrock, Bedrock Agent Core, Amazon Nova, Fargate, and event-driven architectures (SNS/SQS).
- Experience architecting solutions that span two cloud providers (AWS + Azure) in a single environment.
- Regulated industry background strongly preferred — understands the difference between "automatable" and activity that must remain human-owned.
- Track record of standing up architecture governance under an aggressive delivery timeline.
