Summary
Enterprise IT Administrator responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, and improving enterprise-grade IT systems, including on-premises and cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure and AWS), with a focus on security, scalability, and reliability. Manages IT operations, cybersecurity, and compliance across the organization.
Manage both on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and network configurations.
Ensure high levels of system uptime, reliability, and scalability to meet organizational demands.
Configure, monitor, and enhance cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, with a focus on cost efficiency and security.
Implement and maintain data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity protocols.
Oversee IT operations, support functions, and asset management, ensuring compliance with ITIL best practices.
Utilize system monitoring tools to proactively detect and address performance or security issues.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and audits to uphold cybersecurity standards.
Enforce IT security policies and ensure alignment with regulatory and industry requirements.
Support interdepartmental collaboration by addressing infrastructure needs across business units.
Lead and contribute to infrastructure upgrade projects, system migrations, and deployment initiatives.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), team efficiency, and project outcomes.
Coordinate closely with senior leadership to align IT strategy with organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing IT infrastructure, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Deep knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.
- Strong expertise in network architecture, including firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as SolarWinds or Nagios.
- Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity practices and compliance standards.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on collaboration.
