Enterprise IT Architect / IT Solutions Architect

Open 27d posting dated 3 weeks ago

TISA is looking for an experienced IT Architect to help our organization make our work smooth. You will join to our team with also experienced co-workers and will be in many projects.

We are working on a long-term project for a global sports organization, focusing on the maintenance and development of an extensive event platform running on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. The system supports international-scale processes, ranging from data management to complex integrations with external vendors.
The project is mature and highly complex, with over a decade of history, a database containing more than 400 tables, and a sophisticated integration ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and documenting IT solution architecture at an enterprise level (system diagrams, data flows, integration descriptions).

  • Creating and maintaining Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) – justifying why a particular solution was chosen, not just how it works.

  • Analyzing business and technical requirements and translating them into architectural concepts aligned with the existing ecosystem.

  • Assessing existing systems, identifying architectural risks, and recommending future development directions.

  • Defining integration standards with external systems (REST API, event-driven, webhooks) and ensuring their consistency.

  • Verifying compliance of implemented solutions with corporate architecture, security, and quality standards.

  • Collaborating with the development team to solve complex technical problems and provide architectural guidance.

Requirements :

Architecture & Cloud

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Architect, Solutions Architect, or Systems Architect, including designing and integrating enterprise systems.

  • Advanced, hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure – App Service, Azure Functions, Service Bus / Event Hub, Azure SQL, API Management, Azure DevOps (minimum 3 years of real-world experience).

  • Proven experience in designing cloud architecture at an enterprise level.

  • Practical knowledge of architectural and integration patterns: event-driven architecture, SOA, API-first, microservices vs. monoliths.

  • Experience with large, complex relational databases (data modeling, query optimization, dependency management).

  • Understanding of security and resilience in distributed systems (circuit breaker, retry, idempotency, SLA/SLO/RPO/RTO).

Documentation & Communication

  • Experience in creating architectural documentation: UML / C4 diagrams, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), interface and data flow descriptions.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both development teams and business stakeholders.

  • English at a minimum B2 level – daily communication with the client in English is required (meetings, documentation, correspondence).

Nice to Have:

  • Architectural certifications: TOGAF Foundation, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, IASA CITA-A.

  • Knowledge of the Azure Well-Architected Framework.

  • Experience in architecture modeling using tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ArchiMate, or BPMN.

  • Knowledge of ITILv4 processes and the DevSecOps approach.

  • Previous experience in projects within the sports, event, or media industries.

  • Experience in migration projects (e.g., Angular → Vue.js or similar module rewriting).

What we offer:

  • Work on projects close to the latest technologies

  • Independence and freedom in the implementation of tasks and goals

  • Exchange of knowledge and experience as part of internal communication

  • Relaxed and comfortable work atmosphere
