Job Description Summary
The Network Team is responsible for managing and optimizing the
security access of the company’s on-Prem Network and SAAs Applications.
As a Senior Engineer (L6-2), you will act as the architect for Japan’s Network Infrastructure, overseeing Zscaler, Netskope, and Firewall solutions.
This role includes solutioning, deployment, operation, maintenance, and acting as a mentor for junior members.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a Back-End Engineer for Network Security Infrastructure (Zscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
SASE Platform Management: Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Zscaler, Netskope platforms; monitor performance and provide technical support.
Regional Face of Infrastructure: Act as the lead representative for Japan Network Infrastructure.
Security Policy Management: Implement and manage network and security policies, ensuring compliance with global standards.
Incident Response: Monitor and analyze security threats; lead the resolution of complex security incidents.
Mentorship: Act as a mentor for junior team members, guiding their technical development.
Audits & Compliance: Prepare for and respond to internal and external audits; conduct security audits and reports.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
10+ Years of total experience in IT infrastructure /Networking.
Minimum of 5 years specifically in Network and Cloud Security.
Good understanding of Core Networking: Routing and Switching.
Expertise in Next-Gen Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and SASE (Zscaler, Netskope).
Deep exposure to ZTNA Principles and end-to-end Solutioning/Deployment.
Business level in English and Japanese speaking.
Preferred
Experience operating Zscaler in large enterprise environments.
Skills in security automation and scripting (Python, etc.).
Experience working in multinational corporate environments.
Ability to work in high-intensity, cross-cultural environments.
