Your tasks:
- Administration, operation and continuous development of our IT infrastructure with a focus on servers, storage, virtualization and network
- Ensuring stable, secure and highly available operation of our IT system landscape
- Operation, optimization and development of virtualization, storage and backup solutions
- Administration and protection of network and security components, including patching and hardening measures
- Development and automation of monitoring and operating processes to increase efficiency and reliability
- Analysis and sustainable elimination of complex faults as well as implementation of root cause analyses
Your profile
- Several years of professional experience in administration and operation of complex IT infrastructures
- Profound knowledge of Linux and/or Windows server environments and Active Directory
- Good knowledge of virtualization technologies and the operation of data center infrastructures
- Practical experience with enterprise storage systems and storage protocols such as NFS and iSCSI
- Profound understanding of network technologies, in particular routing, VPN, network segmentation, and firewall concepts
- An advantage: Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitOps, automation and infrastructure as code (e.g. Ansible, Terraform) as well as experience with Citrix, firewalls, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with backup, recovery, patch and lifecycle management as well as basic IT security concepts
- Analytical thinking, independent working methods and problem-solving skills
To support our team, we are looking now and full-time (38.5 hours per week). The minimum salary under the collective agreement is €55,356 gross per year ( on a 38.5 hour basis). We also offer market-compliant overpayment depending on qualifications and previous experience, a performance-based variable share and various SDS benefits.
