Enterprise Risk Analyst (Group Risk Management)

The Enterprise Risk Analyst (ERA) supports the Group Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in delivering and maintaining effective risk management practices across the organisation. In addition, the ERA will be responsible for the design, operation and ongoing development of the Group’s third-party risk management programme, ensuring it is applied consistently and effectively and its effective application across the Group. The ERA will work closely with Compliance and Internal Audit to ensuree day-to-day risk activities remain aligned with the CRO’s risk strategy and the Group’s risk appetite.

The Enterprise Risk Analyst (ERA) supports the Group Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in delivering and maintaining effective risk management practices across the organisation. Responsibilities
1. Risk Framework Support and Maintenance:
- Help maintain the Group’s risk registers, facilitate risk assessments, and track mitigation actions across business units.
- Ensure everyday risk activities remain aligned with the risk appetite and strategy set by the CRO.
- Assist the business teams inwith developing key risk indicators that provide meaningful insight into material risks.
2. Third-Party and Vendor Risk Management:
- Help manage the Group’s third-party risk management (TPRM) programme, conducting vendor due diligence and risk assessments for new and existing vendors.
- Monitor vendor compliance with the Group’s security and performance standards, keep records current, and report on the status of third-party risks to the CRO.
3. Internal Audit Coordination:
- Act as a key point of contact between Risk Management and Internal Audit, helping align audit focus with the highest-risk areas.
- Track and follow up on internal audit recommendations so that identified gaps are addressed in a timely manner.
4. Risk Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor the organisation’s risk profile and key risk indicators.
- Prepare clear risk updates and presentations for the team and senior management, escalating significant issues to the CRO with supporting analysis.
5. Compliance and Continuous Improvement:
- Work with Compliance, Legal, and Technology to ensure risk processes comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Proactively recommend enhancements to risk policies, procedures, and tools to improve the effectiveness of risk controls.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Risk Culture:
- Partner with colleagues across Finance, Operations, IT Security, Procurement, and Legal to embed risk considerations into their processes, particularly around third-party engagements.
- Support a strong, risk-aware culture across the organisation, sharing guidance and lessons learned from risk incidents and audits.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher/equivalent) in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications in risk or audit (e.g. FRM, CRISC, CISA/CIA, or CTPRP for third-party risk) – or clear progress toward them – are an advantage.
- 2–4 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, or a related governance role, ideally within financial services or another regulated industry, including some exposure to third-party/vendor risk.
- Solid understanding of enterprise risk management principles and frameworks, strong analytical skills and attention to detail, and you are comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across different functions and geographies.
