POSITION SUMMARY

The Enterprise Solutions Architect designs, builds, and delivers improvements that turn member feedback, team member insight, operational friction, and business opportunities into measurable results. The role combines solution design, business and systems administration, process optimization, and project management, supported by change management.

The Enterprise Solutions Architect owns improvements from discovery through adoption and results and is responsible for administering key systems including but not limited to the core banking system, eSignature, workflow automation, and account origination applications. This role brings the right people together, challenges the status quo, and maintains momentum until value is delivered.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Find the Friction

  • Review Project Velocity submissions, surveys, complaints, operational data, and team member feedback to identify recurring friction and root causes.
  • Separate isolated service issues from systemic opportunities, and maintain a prioritized improvement backlog based on impact, risk, efficiency, and capacity.
  • Define the baseline, desired outcome, success measures, and accountable owner for each material opportunity.

Design the Experience

  • Map current-state journeys and processes to expose unnecessary steps, handoffs, delays, rework, and control gaps.
  • Design the desired member and team member experience first, then align process, policy, technology, data, and controls to deliver it.
  • Lead discovery, requirements, and future-state design with cross-functional partners, favoring self-service, automation, AI, and fuller use of existing technology.
  • Develop business cases with documented baselines and target outcomes, and evaluate whether to configure, integrate, purchase, or retire technology based on value, risk, cost, user impact, and scalability.

Launch the Improvement

  • Translate prioritized opportunities into sprints with clear scope, outcomes, owners, and acceptance criteria.
  • Own multiple cross-functional improvements from pre-planning to operations, including stabilization, managing scope, schedule, resources, budget, risks, dependencies, decisions, and testing.
  • Serve as an administrator for key systems such as the core banking system, eSignature, account origination, and other programs that support member experience and operations, configuring approved settings, workflows, and permissions within established change controls.
  • Coordinate vendors, releases, and integrations with Technology, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, and business owners; lead user acceptance testing.
  • Complete implementation reviews and confirm results against the approved plan.
  • Provide concise updates, surface risks and tradeoffs, and escalate material issues with recommended options.

Lead Change and Adoption

  • Assess how each change affects roles, workflows, controls, and member interactions, and involve affected team members and leaders in design and testing.
  • Develop a proportionate communication plan covering audiences, key messages, timing, and training, clearly explaining what is changing, why, and what people need to do differently.
  • Anticipate resistance and confusion, and coordinate training, job aids, go-live support, and post-launch reinforcement.

Develop and Maintain Procedures

  • Create or update procedures, job aids, administration guides, and knowledge articles as part of each sprint's definition of done.
  • Write practical, plain-language guidance covering decision points, exceptions, controls, and ownership; retire outdated or conflicting guidance.
  • Maintain system configuration, testing, training, decision, and control documentation so knowledge is accessible and transferable.

Accelerate the Impact

  • Measure adoption and outcomes after release; a change is not complete simply because it went live.
  • Track measures such as member effort and satisfaction, turnaround time, hours saved, manual touches eliminated, error reduction, and cost avoided against baseline and target.
  • Track system adoption, reliability, exceptions, manual workarounds, and vendor performance; address material gaps and underused functionality.
  • Use post-launch data to refine improvements, take corrective action, and report backlog health, delivery, benefits, capacity constraints, systemic risks, and decisions needed to the Chief Operations Officer and sponsors.

Shared Expertise and Team Contribution

  • Build proficiency across multiple key systems, serving as primary administrator for some and qualified backup for others, with appropriate access and segregation of duties.
  • Cross-train teammates, share reusable methods and lessons learned, and coach business partners in problem solving, process improvement, and change adoption.
  • Perform other duties and lead special initiatives as assigned.
