Enterprise System Engineer

Our client, a leading global organization operating within a highly regulated environment, is seeking a Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer to join its infrastructure team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise technology platforms across on-premises and cloud environments while ensuring operational stability, security, compliance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions across Windows Server, VMware, Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot core technologies including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Exchange (on premises & hybrid), SQL Server, and file services.
• Lead critical incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem management activities.
• Drive automation and operational efficiency through PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Terraform, and Azure DevOps.
• Maintain security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance standards within a regulated environment.
• Serve as a technical escalation point and subject matter expert for complex infrastructure challenges.
• Mentor team members and contribute to infrastructure strategy, roadmap planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering, preferably within a regulated industry.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, and Active Directory technologies.
• Experience supporting Exchange hybrid environments, virtualization platforms, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Hands-on knowledge of automation, scripting, infrastructure-as-code, and operational monitoring tools.
• Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects and manage complex technical incidents in a global support environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
