An entry-level plastic injection molding operator operates and monitors machines that produce plastic parts. Typical duties include:
- Removing finished parts from the machine or conveyor
- Inspecting parts for defects, such as discoloration, cracks, warping, or incomplete molding
- Trimming excess plastic and completing light assembly
- Packaging, labeling, and counting finished products
- Following work instructions and meeting production standards
- Recording production and quality information
- Keeping the work area clean and organized
- Following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE
- Reporting machine, quality, or safety concerns to the supervisor or process technician
Important Facts about the Position:
- 2nd Shift
- Monday through Friday
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Overtime as required based on production needs
