Job Description

Windy Ridge Insurance Agency is looking for a motivated, energetic, and competitive individual who wants an opportunity to break into the insurance industry and build a career.

No insurance experience or insurance license is required to start.

This is an entry-level Sales Development Representative (SDR) position focused on prospecting, lead generation, and connecting potential customers with our licensed insurance sales team.

For the right person, this can be the first step toward becoming a Licensed Insurance Producer and growing into larger sales and leadership opportunities within our agency.

What Success Looks Like

We aren’t expecting you to walk through the door knowing insurance.

We are expecting effort.

Successful SDRs will consistently:

  • Make 150+ calls per day
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation
  • Complete assigned text and follow-up activities
  • Generate qualified conversations and live transfers
  • Be coachable and apply feedback
  • Show up consistently with a positive, competitive attitude
  • Work toward individual and team goals

Compensation:

  • Hourly guaranteed base pay
  • PLUS opportunities to earn additional performance-based compensation based on qualified results.
  • Your effort and performance can directly increase your earnings.

Your Career Path

We want this position to be an entry point into the insurance industry — not simply a telemarketing job.

During your first six months, you’ll have the opportunity to learn:

• Prospecting

• Phone sales

• Customer communication

• Objection handling

• Lead management

• CRM management

• Insurance terminology

• Sales processes

• How a successful insurance agency operates

Employees who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, coachability, and professionalism may have the opportunity after approximately six months to begin working toward their Property & Casualty insurance license and advancement into a Licensed Insurance Producer position.

Potential career path:

SDR → Licensed Insurance Producer → Senior Producer → Leadership Opportunities

  • Performance-based Incentives
  • Career Growth Opportunities
  • Hands on Training

  • Accurately document every customer interaction in the CRM
  • Update lead statuses and maintain an organized sales pipeline
  • Consistently follow up with prospects who have not yet been reached
  • Participate in sales coaching and training
  • Meet daily and weekly activity and performance expectations
