The Environmental Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and continuously improving environmental performance on assigned projects.
The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental certifications, and Exyte policies while minimising environmental impacts during construction and project execution.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Implement, maintain, and continuously update the Project Environmental Management Execution Plan throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, licenses, and client environmental requirements
  • Identify, assess, and manage environmental risks related to energy and water use, emissions, waste, noise, spills, biodiversity, and soil or groundwater protection
  • Establish and manage environmental monitoring systems, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting through Exyte tools (e.g. environmental logs, oneEHS)
  • Coordinate and guide contractors to ensure compliance with environmental requirements, pollution prevention, and waste management standards
  • Conduct environmental site inspections and audits, manage non‑conformities, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented
  • Promote environmental awareness, training, and continuous improvement initiatives across project teams and contractors

Show your expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3 or equivalent) in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience on construction sites, ideally within complex or industrial project environments
  • Strong knowledge of environmental management systems (e.g. ISO 14001), regulations, and construction‑related environmental risks
  • Proven ability to analyse environmental risks and implement effective mitigation measures
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including contractor coordination
  • Proficiency in digital tools and environmental monitoring and reporting systems
  • Fluent French (mandatory) and English level B2 minimum
