Environment Tester

Position Title: Environment Tester
Location: Sacramento, CA
Duration: 12+ Months with possible extension

Mandatory Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in software engineering or IT systems development.

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in test environment management, including planning and coordination

• Minimum three (3) years working with cloud platforms like AWS and/or Azure, databases, and integrations.

• Minimum three (3) years integrating environment activities with CI/CD pipelines.

• Minimum three (3) years of experience managing environment-related incidents, including risk identification, issue triage, root cause analysis, coordination of rollback procedures, and execution of environment recovery activities.

• Possession of a bachelor’s degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Desirable Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years of cumulative experience supporting enterprise application environments.

• One (1) year experience supporting large scale enterprise benefit systems (eg: Unemployment Insurance or Disability Insurance) meeting defined large scale enterprise system criteria.

• Minimum three (3) years of experience with test data tools and platforms like AWS S3, AWS RDS, MS SQL, AWS EC2.

• Possesses one or more of the below certifications:

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level 1

• Possession of a Master’s degree in a Business Administration, IT or Engineering field.
