Environmental Compliance & Safety Manager

Our client is seeking an Environmental Compliance & Safety Manager to lead and support workplace safety, environmental compliance, and sustainability initiatives in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, maintaining environmental permits and reporting requirements, delivering safety training, and driving a culture of continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of safety, environmental regulations, and industrial hygiene practices who is passionate about creating a safe and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations and requirements.
• Support and maintain environmental and safety management systems, audits, and compliance programs.
• Manage environmental permits and coordinate required regulatory reporting.
• Collect, analyze, and report environmental data, including air, water, and waste metrics.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate required environmental monitoring, testing, and compliance activities.
• Develop and deliver safety, health, and environmental training programs for employees, contractors, visitors, and other stakeholders.
• Train and support supervisors on safety and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Monitor, track, and report safety and environmental performance metrics.
• Conduct workplace inspections and identify opportunities to improve safety and environmental performance.
• Partner with leadership and employees to promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
