Environmental Consultant
- Work in environmental site assessment related projects, whether as individual or team, in accordance with client requirements, local regulations and international standards.
- Perform field sampling of environmental media (e.g., soil, water, air), site visit and inspections, supervise and coordinate with subcontractors as required for the soil and groundwater investigation projects handled.
- Write technical reports to present the environmental site assessment findings, analysis and recommendations.
- Prepare figures, illustrations, presentation slides, as part of the deliverables.
- Where required, support environmental audits, due diligence reviews, conduct job safety risk assessment, health and safety compliance audits.
- Support team manager in project and proposal management as well as administrative duties
- Carry out duties in accordance with quality and environmental management system, health and safety policies and procedures
- Report quality, environmental, health and safety problems or any suggestions to his/ her immediate superior
- Perform other duties that his/her immediate superior may assign from time to time
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Planning or related fields.
- Fresh graduates, or early professionals with experience in environmental projects, particularly environmental site assessment, environmental, health and safety auditing and compliance reviews.
- Candidates with strong experience may be considered for a senior-level appointment.
- Demonstrated ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate field activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, exhibit aptitude to think critically.
- Possess strong growth mind-set, self-motivated to grow and learn new skills and knowledge.
- Keen to work in a team as supportive team member, as well as ability to work under limited supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
