Job Description

Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to ensure compliance with environmental health and hygiene standards.
Monitor housekeeping, waste management, pest control, and sanitation practices.
Identify environmental health hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Carry out risk assessments related to environmental hygiene and infection control.
Investigate environmental or hygiene-related incidents and prepare reports.
Organize and conduct environmental health awareness and training sessions for employees.
Liaise with government authorities, clients, contractors, and service providers on environmental health matters.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, corrective actions, and compliance documentation.
Monitor the performance of cleaning and pest control contractors to ensure service standards are met.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Certified Environmental Control Officer (ECO) qualification recognized by the relevant authority.
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in environmental health, facilities management, healthcare, construction, or a related field is preferred.
Good knowledge of environmental health regulations, workplace hygiene, and infection prevention practices.
Strong observation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to work on-site and respond to operational requirements when necessary.
Experience in conducting inspections, audits, and staff training is an advantage.
