Environmental Engineer I
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Prepare compliance reports, required recordkeeping, inspections, and permit applications for Hunt companies, including periodic and immediate compliance reports as required by applicable environmental regulations.
Assist with environmental notifications to regulatory agencies and coordinate timely communication of compliance-related information.
Manage the Title V, storage tank, fenceline monitoring, internal auditing, and agency reporting compliance programs.
Research environmental regulations as needed to support compliance determinations, permitting needs, and implementation of existing or developing regulatory requirements.
Support and cross-train with other members of the Environmental Department to support continuity of environmental compliance programs and assist with department-wide compliance responsibilities as needed.
Participate in other Environmental Department activities such as water compliance sampling and monitoring, performance testing, Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) administration, oil spill response activity, CEMS oversight, and other environmental activities as needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field, and 2 or more years of related environmental and/or engineering experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid driver’s license. Will be required to have a valid TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
