Environmental Engineer

This position will be filled using the Direct Hiring Authority (DHA) for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in Department of Defense (DoD). About the Position: This is an Environmental Engineer position in the Directorate of Installation Services at Tobyhanna Army Depot. .

Responsible for environmental engineering program areas, including the Resources Conservation and Recovery Act, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, the Toxic Substances Control Act, and Installation Hazardous Waste (HW) Management Program.

Analyze requirements, develop design and specifications, or prepare statement-of-work and fee estimates for award of contract to engineering firms for environmental engineering projects.

Visit operations to resolve problems requiring investigation of unsanitary/questionable conditions.

Represent the depot at conferences and panels dealing with pollution control, environmental protection, etc.
