We’re seeking a Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to lead and support safety initiatives while ensuring compliance with all environmental and regulatory standards for our food manufacturing client in Lancaster, PA. Hire Type: Temp-to-Hire
Hours: 1st Shift

Develop, implement, and manage environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs to ensure regulatory compliance
Conduct routine inspections, audits, and environmental monitoring; document findings and recommend corrective actions
Lead safety training and new hire orientations, promoting awareness of EHS policies and procedures
Maintain EHS documentation, including reports, compliance records, and safety data sheets (SDS)
Collaborate with leadership and safety committees to address concerns, improve processes, and ensure adherence to safety standards
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field
Minimum of 1 years of environmental health and safety experience
Working knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and environmental compliance standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
