Terracon is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our Iowa Environmental team. In this role, you will manage a variety of environmental projects from proposal through completion, partnering with clients, technical experts, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions safely, on schedule, and within budget.

• Manage environmental projects from planning through delivery, ensuring safety, scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and build strong, lasting relationships.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, proposals, and work plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and collaborate with environmental professionals across Terracon's nationwide network.
• Monitor project performance, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Lead project meetings, prepare technical reports, and communicate project status to clients and stakeholders.
• Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and expanding client relationships.
• Review project financials, oversee invoicing and collections, and support overall project profitability.
• Champion Terracon's commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field and at least 5 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 9+ years of related environmental consulting experience.
• Demonstrated experience in managing environmental projects, budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
• Strong communication, leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG), or other relevant professional registration/certification.
• Demonstrated experience working in local, state (Iowa), and federal regulatory programs.
• Established client relationships, business development experience, and understanding of local markets.
