ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer.

You will be responsible for coordinating and administering site air quality compliance and permitting programs.

You will serve as point of contact for environmental regulatory visits and inspections of assigned areas of responsibility.

You will support response to and oversight of spill response team actions.

You will recommend and implement corrective actions for air quality and permit deviations.

You will support the air compliance program as part of the Environmental Division within the Public Works Department located at Naval Air Station Fallon.

You may support other media programs at the installation.

You will keep informed of new/proposed developments in air quality regulations and Navy compliance policies.
