ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST
You will serve as a Environmental Protection Specialist in the Navy Installation Command of PACIFIC MISSILE RANGE FACILITY.
You will work on environmental protection projects of complex scope involving analysis, development, implementation and management of environmental programs.
You will represent the command or participate in meetings with external groups such as, community groups, Federal, State and local regulatory agencies and other concerned groups related to environmental programs.
You will provide technical assistance for control, clean up, and resolution.
You will implement corrective action in compliance with regulations.
You will develop and provide a variety of reports such as, annual and biennial reports for regulatory agencies; facility operating reports; and/or annual compliance certifications.
You will be responsible for coordinating and balancing a myriad of environmental efforts to ensure compliance and timely execution of customer needs.
You will manage installation aspects of environmental plans and permits, by ensuring compliance with permits issued by local, State, and Federal regulatory agencies.
You will maintain knowledge/oversight of compliance status including inspection discrepancies, status of corrective actions, and permit compliance data.
