Part-Time

Duties:

• Carry out all cleaning duties as directed.
• Ensure that daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition.
• Adhere to infection control policies.
• Adhere to correct use of personal protective equipment (PEE) requirements.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is completed daily.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written, and electronic communications.
• Dust furniture, woodwork, equipment, and dust-mop floors.
• Clean vents, fan fixtures, top of windows, door frames, and other high surfaces.
• Gather and dispose of trash and waste materials using specified bags and containers.
• Move furniture and other heavy objects as required.
• Perform terminal cleaning procedures of resident rooms and prepare rooms for new admissions; follow isolation procedures in isolation rooms.
• Clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors, and walls of bathrooms.
• Make supply packs for departments and put linen stacks in carts for distributions
• Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
