Lead Software Engineer - Java/Spring/Microservices

Location : Hyderabad

Experience : 5 - 12 Years

About the Role :

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to develop, enhance and maintain code while building back-end microservices and REST APIs for impactful projects.

Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance and maintain code

- Build back-end microservices and REST APIs

- Conduct unit testing

- Perform code reviews

- Follow best practices including code review, unit testing and continuous integration

- Collaborate with team members to design and implement solutions

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- 5 - 12 years of development work experience

- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework and Kafka

- Proficiency in REST APIs, microservices architecture and WebLogic

Nice to have :

- Master's degree in Computer Science

- Background in financial services, particularly in wealth management

- Knowledge of additional programming languages

- Familiarity with cloud technologies

- Understanding of agile development methodologies
