Regular, Full-Time position | Schedule: Hybrid. 40% remote, 60% in-office. Mon-Fri 8-4:30 | Pay: Paygrade 14, Salaried, Depending on credentials and experience

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Epic Business Intelligence Developers (BIDs) create analytics content for end-users and third parties who require Epic data.

Primary Tasks:

1. You will configure and test Epic‐released and Foundation System content for all applications, including Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, RadarCogito SQL.

2. Creating content to display Epic data from Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle.

3. Writing SQL and configuring Radar settings for custom SQL metrics.

4. Reviewing peer reports for validity and modifying existing reports.

5. You will distribute analytics content to data consumers and working with subject matter experts to understand the needs of data consumers.

6. Maintaining the Analytics Catalog and associated metadata records.

7. Testing analytics build in a specified testing environment and volume testing in live environments.

8. Reviewing upgrade documentation related to Cogito features and determining how to implement the changes.

9. You might also build and maintain: Cubes, Extracts, SlicerDicer custom filters, Third‐party BI tools, and Epic data in Caboodle.

10. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or healthcare field or 4 years related experience in healthcare or business-related field

2 years of experience with SQL and relational database concepts

Proficiency and demonstrated experience with analytics tools.

Strong verbal and written correspondence skills

Strong coordination, facilitation, consultation, and conflict resolution skills

Fundamental experience troubleshooting technical issues.

Operate and communicate while under pressure.

Strong critical and analytical thinking skills

Existing knowledge of healthcare culture, personnel, and processes
