Epic Security and Access Analyst

Summary

Manages Epic EHR security and access governance, handling user provisioning, role-based permissions, and compliance tasks for a Texas-based healthcare client via remote work with occasional onsite travel.

Superlanet is seeking an Epic Security & Access Analyst to support our healthcare client in Texas. This direct hire role will support Epic security administration, access provisioning, role-based security, and user lifecycle management across clinical and business applications. While remote, the flexibility to travel onsite for important milestones and go-lives is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of Epic experience, a strong understanding of Epic security workflows, and the ability to contribute quickly while working alongside a senior Epic Security leader. Responsibilities

  • Process Epic access requests, modifications, and terminations through ServiceNow.
  • Support onboarding, transfers, and offboarding activities.
  • Assign and maintain security classes, roles, templates, and user records.
  • Support EMP imports, provider imports, and Epic security maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot user access and security-related issues.
  • Assist with role optimization, audits, compliance reviews, and access governance activities.
  • Participate in Epic upgrades, testing, and change management efforts.
  • Maintain security documentation and procedures.
  • Collaborate with IAM, HR, Compliance, and Epic application teams.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of Epic security, access management, or Epic application support experience.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience managing requests through ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system.
  • Familiarity with Epic security roles, security classes, user provisioning, and access management.
  • Experience supporting EMP records, provider maintenance, or provider imports.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Epic Security Certification strongly preferred.
  • Candidates pursuing Epic Security Certification will be considered.
  • Experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM) processes.
  • Security+, CIAM, or similar certifications are a plus.


Benefits

Salary based on experience $85,000 - $95,000
