Location: Yishun, Singapore

Salary: SGD 3,800 – SGD 5,000 per month

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday

  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Normal office hours

Job Description

We are looking for an Equipment Engineer to support semiconductor manufacturing operations by ensuring production equipment operates efficiently and reliably. The successful candidate will be responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and supporting manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the performance and reliability of production equipment to support daily manufacturing operations.

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.

  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues related to vacuum systems, deposition tools, and associated equipment components.

  • Monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and recommend improvement measures.

  • Support equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and upgrade projects.

  • Collaborate with Process, Production, and Engineering teams to improve equipment performance and manufacturing stability.

  • Investigate equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, productivity, and operational efficiency.

  • Maintain maintenance records, equipment documentation, and spare parts inventory.

  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company safety, quality, and cleanroom requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or a related engineering discipline.

  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or advanced electronics manufacturing is preferred.

  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or manufacturing support within a production environment will be an advantage.

  • Exposure to vacuum systems, thin film deposition, PVD, CVD, wafer fabrication, semiconductor packaging, or related manufacturing equipment is preferred.

  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and wearing cleanroom attire during working hours.
