Equipment Maintenance Tech
Primary Responsibilities and Qualifications:
• Functional knowledge and skills in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic factory equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and completed work within the maintenance database/CMMS.
• Own and perform preventative maintenance on assigned production equipment and facilities in accordance with established PM schedules and methods. Continuously improve PM effectiveness and documentation.
• Assist in design, fabrication, and qualification of new manufacturing equipment.
• Perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds (some weekends and holidays required).
• Properly identify parts and supplies needed to support repairs and upgrades of equipment. Obtain quotes and order parts from suppliers.
• Assist engineers and factory managers with installation and relocation of process equipment. Assist in performing production line safety reviews and equipment reliability qualifications.
• Perform hazard and ergonomic assessments and resulting upgrades of new and existing process equipment.
• Follow established safety and change management processes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Additional Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three or more years of relevant maintenance experience (five preferred).
• Basic computer/database proficiency.
• Strong customer service and communication.
• Soldering is a plus.
Work Schedule
Four-day workweek with one six-hour Friday coverage shift approximately once per month.
