Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site service, maintenance, and repair of forklifts and related field equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all service activities.
- Collaborate with the service team and management to improve service processes and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Field Service Forklift Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently in a field environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
