Equipment Technician
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
- Conduct equipment set-up, calibration, and alignment according to operational specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage.
- Follow EHS and cleanroom protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and tools.
- Coordinate with engineers and production teams to ensure equipment readiness and yield performance.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest reliability upgrades.
Education & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in EE/ECE/ME or its equivalents.
2-3 Year Vocational Graduate in Electro-mechanics, Industrial Technology, or related field
- TESDA NC-II/III Certification in Electro-mechanics or relevant field
- With at least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in troubleshooting complex machinery and interpreting technical manuals
Skills
Proficient in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC-based systems
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
Working Conditions
- This role is 100% onsite
And on shifting schedule with possible overtime to support production's requirement.
