Equities Client Operations Analyst|6 Months Contract|Central
Key Responsibilities
- Trade Lifecycle Management: Handling trade allocation, pre-matching, and fails management to ensure successful settlement of client transactions.
- Client Service: Serving as a primary contact for clients regarding trade execution queries and complex transaction requests.
- Risk & Control: Mitigating risk for the firm by ensuring controls are performed timely, maintaining accurate books and records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Driving automation, enhancing straight-through processing (STP) rates, and increasing the scalability of workflows to support growing business volumes.
- Collaboration: Working with sales, trading, technology, and compliance teams to resolve trade issues and develop new products or market entries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Communication: Exceptional relationship-building skills to interact effectively with both internal and external clients.
- Analytical Abilities: Proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving, with a focus on mitigating operational risks.
- Efficiency Driven: Experience with, or willingness to drive, automation and workflow improvement.
