Responsibilites

  • Support the Research team in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly market outlooks and investment insights.
  • Assist senior analysts in conducting company, sector, and macroeconomic research.
  • Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and industry developments to identify key market trends.
  • Prepare research reports, presentation materials, and investment-related content.
  • Monitor global financial markets, economic events, and company announcements.
  • Support the development of research content for client education, webinars, seminars, and media engagements when required.
  • Maintain financial models, valuation analysis, and market databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, and Business Development to support research initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with market news and investment trends across Malaysia, the U.S., Hong Kong, and other major markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Investment, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Equity Research, Investment Research, Capital Markets, Brokerage, Investment Banking, Asset Management, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in financial markets, equities, and investment analysis.
  • Good understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and equity markets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with the Moomoo platform and active interest in stock investing.
  • Holder of professional qualifications such as CFA or CMSRL (Modules 12 & 19A).
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Language proficiency in English, Malay is a must, while Chinese/Mandarin is advantageous.
  • Bumiputera candidates are encouraged to apply.
