ERP Business Analyst
Summary
Analyzes and improves business processes using ERP systems like SAP Business One, leading projects, gathering requirements, and ensuring smooth system deployments and user training.
The ERP Business Analyst is responsible for planning, managing, and executing the activities associated with detailed analysis and redesign of business processes. The activities are primarily the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities that are enabled by ERP functionality and related third-party applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation and management of technologies, processes, and controls to protect systems, networks, programs, devices, and data from cybersecurity threats.
- Provide strong leadership and support in the areas of continuous process improvement, process & systems integrity, and project management.
- Works with subject matter experts to gather and document business requirements for assigned projects or system enhancements.
- Research solutions which meet business requirements while maximizing our use of ERP and presenting those solutions to the business users to obtain consensus and approval.
- Spearheading the process of moving a change from development to production. Test and deploy customizations, interfaces, or enhancements. Prepare and maintain change control and validation documentation.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to translate business processes or concepts into technical requirements are essential.
- Must work independently on concurrent projects, and in supporting problem tickets by working with end users, subject matter experts and business managers.
- Collaborates with business teams, support teams and SAP resources for different initiatives.
- Coordinates workshops with business teams to understand their current processes, tools, and technologies.
- Provides end user training.
- Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
- Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least five years of progressively more responsible experience
- SAP Business One experience preferred.
- A professional level of knowledge in a specialized IT field equivalent to that ordinarily acquired by completing a 5-year baccalaureate program or 2 years of post-bachelor’s degree.
- Strong attention to detail
Additional Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
