ERP Platform Manager
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Digital Partner – ERP Solutions who will take end-to-end ownership of the ERP platform supporting manufacturing, supply chain and logistics operations within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
In this role, you will combine strategic platform ownership with operational excellence, ensuring stable, secure and compliant delivery of ERP services while driving continuous improvement and business value. Acting as a trusted partner for business stakeholders, you will shape the ERP roadmap, lead service delivery, manage external vendors and ensure that the platform effectively supports critical business processes.
This is a leadership role requiring strong stakeholder management, service management expertise and experience operating enterprise applications in regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Platform Ownership
Own the ERP platform lifecycle, ensuring high availability, stability and continuous improvement.
Define and manage the ERP roadmap in partnership with business stakeholders.
Balance operational excellence with delivery of new business capabilities.
Ensure ERP solutions effectively support manufacturing, supply chain and logistics processes.
Service Delivery & Operations
Lead end-to-end service delivery for the ERP platform.
Drive IT Service Management processes, including Incident, Problem and Change Management.
Monitor service performance, KPIs and SLAs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Ensure service continuity and minimize operational risks.
Act as the escalation point for major incidents and critical operational issues.
Business Partnership
Build strong relationships with business leaders and act as a trusted advisor.
Translate business priorities into platform initiatives and technology improvements.
Communicate platform health, risks, planned changes and major incidents to key stakeholders.
Prioritize initiatives based on business value, operational impact and risk.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure ERP operations comply with GxP, Computerized Systems Validation (CSV), GAMP5, Annex 11 and applicable regulatory requirements.
Coordinate platform-related activities during internal and external audits.
Maintain appropriate documentation, compliance evidence and operational governance.
Vendor & Financial Management
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
Monitor vendor performance and contractual compliance.
Plan and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets for the ERP platform (approximately PLN 10M).
Identify opportunities to optimize service quality and operational costs.
Leadership
Lead and develop the ERP platform team.
Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence and continuous improvement.
Support cross-functional collaboration across Digital, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality functions.
What we're looking for
Experience
5+ years of experience in ERP platform ownership, enterprise applications management or IT leadership.
Experience managing business-critical enterprise platforms.
Previous experience in regulated industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Medical Devices or FMCG is highly preferred.
Proven experience working with external vendors and service providers.
Experience managing operational budgets and technology investments.
Technical & Functional Expertise
Strong knowledge of ERP platforms, preferably Oracle E-Business Suite.
Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL), including Incident, Problem and Change Management.
Experience with service delivery management, SLA governance and operational excellence.
Understanding of Application Lifecycle Management and enterprise application support.
Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain and logistics processes.
Compliance
Good understanding of GxP, CSV, GAMP5 and Annex 11.
Experience supporting regulated systems and compliance audits.
Leadership & Communication
Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decision-making.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
