ERP Project Manager

This is a senior-level opportunity to lead a large-scale ERP implementation and enterprise digital transformation initiative.
You will own the project lifecycle from planning and design through testing, deployment, and delivery.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of complex technology and business workstreams.
You will coordinate cross-functional teams, ERP vendors, functional leads, executives, and other stakeholders.
Success will depend on your ability to manage scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks, and quality across the program.
The environment is global, highly collaborative, and focused on delivering meaningful organizational transformation.
This role is fully remote, with availability required during U.S. Eastern Time business hours and some travel as needed.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale ERP implementation, migration, and enterprise application transformation initiatives, ensuring projects meet established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Manage day-to-day project operations, maintaining visibility into milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, deliverables, financials, and resource requirements.
  • Build and coordinate project teams, allocating resources according to workstream priorities, project phases, and delivery needs.
  • Partner with senior technology leadership, functional leads, vendors, and business stakeholders to maintain alignment throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Oversee ERP design and configuration decisions, escalating issues related to functionality, scope, budget, timelines, or solution quality when appropriate.
  • Identify, communicate, and proactively mitigate major risks and unresolved issues that could affect project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with ERP implementation vendors and functional leaders to validate business scenarios and ensure solutions support future-state processes.
  • Review and approve critical project documentation, including requirements analyses, solution and design documents, gap analyses, testing materials, and other implementation deliverables.
  • Lead coordination of System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring test cases adequately reflect future-state business processes.
  • Monitor functional workstreams, resolve delivery challenges, and ensure milestones and deliverables remain on track.
  • Coordinate project-wide communications and provide clear status reporting to executive leadership, steering committees, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience managing complex projects or portfolios within large organizations, with responsibility spanning people, processes, technology, and tools.
    • Demonstrated experience personally leading the deployment, implementation, or migration of ERP platforms.
    • Hands-on experience with major ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics, with Oracle Cloud ERP experience strongly preferred.
    • Proven track record delivering large-scale ERP implementations and enterprise application transformation programs.
    • Strong understanding of ERP systems, cloud technologies, requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
    • Strong project and program management capabilities, with the ability to maintain both strategic oversight and detailed execution control.
    • Experience managing SIT and UAT activities and working directly with ERP vendors and Functional Leads.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify dependencies and risks, communicate them effectively, and drive timely resolution.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Experience working with executive leadership, Steering Committees, and senior technology stakeholders is preferred.
    • Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives across multiple locations or business units is a plus.
    • Must be able to collaborate during U.S. Eastern Time (ET) business hours and travel when required.
    • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with strong ownership, organization, accountability, and attention to detail.
