ERP Security Lead
Applies advanced IT professional concepts and campus / medical center / OP objectives to resolve highly complex issues in one or more IT areas of specialization, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Recommends and may select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results.
Under the direction of the ERP Technical Manager, ERP Security Administrator will be responsible for planning, implementing and coordinating all aspects of application security administration support for Cloud ERP system, UCPath and the implementation of security for new Cloud ERP modules and bolt-on applications.
The position is responsible for monitoring system access, conducting security reviews, and supporting compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. It includes performing audits, investigating access issues, responding to security incidents, and driving continuous improvements in cloud application security through standardization, documentation, and adherence to best practices.
The Security Administrator will work closely with the development team to identify trends, potential system problems and resolutions, assessing business requirements, providing on-going user audits across systems, troubleshooting system defects, conducting testing, and maintaining system configurations related to application security as required.
Must be flexible to handle multiple work assignments, changing priorities, and meet deadlines. The ERP Security Administrator must also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication, presentation and project management skills.
Department Overview
IT Financial Systems provides application and technical support for central administrative systems. The Cloud ERP Financial Applications consists of Fund Management (General Ledger and Asset Management), Procure to Pay (Accounts Payable, Purchasing and eProcurement) and Research Administration (Accounts Receivables, Billing, Project Costing, Grants, Contract) modules. IT Financial System supports the integration between UCSF and UCPath, UC systemwide HCM and Payroll System.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BSA/BS Degree: Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Business degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
- Minimum 3+ years of related experience
- 5 + years of experience in an organization comparable to UCSF in terms of budget size, complexity, and scope of operation
- Experience in Helpdesk, Functional/Business Analyst
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability in learning new technology
- Hands-on experience in writing SQL or using SQL query tools
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly and effectively document technical problems and their solutions
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team. Must be a team player
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with trouble ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, is a plus
- Experience working with Cloud ERP Financial, HCM or other enterprise business application is a plus
- ERP Security Administration expertise is desirable but not required. Preferably with Cloud ERP applications
