Acadian supports a hybrid work environment; employees are on-site in the London office 3 days a week.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and lead engagement activities with investee companies across assigned regions, incorporate client-specific stewardship priorities, monitor controversies, and speak directly to companies.
  • Capture company intelligence through engagements, support quantitative ESG assessments of portfolio holdings, maintain engagement records and databases, and produce high-quality case studies, quarterly updates, and stewardship reporting for both internal and external audiences.
  • Share engagement insights regularly with portfolio managers, researchers and sustainability specialists to support the development of proprietary signals, analytics, and spur new ESG research ideas.
  • Leverage Python and AI tools to acquire, clean, transform, and analyse large structured and unstructured datasets and contribute to the development of AI-enabled stewardship tools.

We’re Looking for Teammates With:

  • Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience on the buy-side or sell-side.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for programming (Python and SQL), conducting exploratory data analysis, and extracting insights from large datasets.
  • Experience with generative AI tools including OpenAI and Claude code.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively across global teams and time zones.
  • A demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, including a willingness to pursue relevant professional qualifications such as the CFA Sustainable Investing Certificate.
