Location: Noida
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven ESOP Management Specialist to manage the end-to-end administration of the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The role will partner closely with HR, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of equity programs while maintaining compliance, accuracy, and a superior employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the complete ESOP lifecycle, including grant creation, vesting schedules, exercises, lapses, cancellations, and exits.
• Maintain accurate employee equity records and ensure timely updates in the ESOP management platform.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Payroll, and external trustees/vendors for smooth execution of ESOP-related transactions.
• Prepare and validate grant letters, exercise documentation, employee communications, and regulatory reports.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes related to equity grants and settlements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Address employee queries regarding grants, vesting, exercises, taxation, and policy interpretation.
• Generate periodic MIS reports, dashboards, and analytics on ESOP utilization, vesting, exercises, and outstanding grants.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and process compliance.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve ESOP administration processes. Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3–7 years of experience in HR Operations, Equity Administration, ESOP Management, or Total Rewards.
• Experience handling employee equity programs in a listed or high-growth organization is preferred.
• Strong understanding of ESOP regulations, equity administration, taxation, and compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience with ESOP/equity management platforms is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information.
