Job Purpose:

As the Mobile Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications. You will write clean and efficient code that delivers a seamless user experience on various mobile platforms, such as iOS and Android.

Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

You'll collaborate with teammates, designers and product managers to develop new features, writing clean and efficient code, optimizing the application for performance and user experience.

Your work includes resolving technical issues, participating in code reviews and best practices, coordinating with other team members, reporting problems, and presenting status reports.

You will take ownership of assigned features and projects, applying creative thinking, seeking guidance in unexpected situations, and ensuring your work is regularly reviewed.

You will implement improvements in your own work area and contribute to team-level process enhancements, documenting changes and their impact.

You will also work closely with geographically distributed teams, participating in agile planning meetings and stand-ups, and fixing any issues with existing work.

This will also involve practicing test-driven development, performing testing on applications, and staying updated on new technology trends and frameworks.

You will also assist in workflow management and deployment processes, participating in internal and production releases under routine supervision.

What’s needed for success – Experience & Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in mobile application development

Strong proficiency in Dart, Flutter, Experience with React Native and other related technologies would be an added advantage

Experience building mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms

Knowledge of Cubit/Bloc and other state management libraries

Understanding of RESTful APIs and web technologies

Good working knowledge of software engineering principles and the whole software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Coding standards aimed towards DRY and SOLID principles

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Passion for gaming and the gaming community
