Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Owner to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and overall upkeep of multiple residential and private properties.
  • Take full responsibility for the effective management, maintenance, and presentation of the managed properties, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard.
  • Liaise and coordinate closely with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and service providers for landscaping, upgrading, renovation, repair, and maintenance works.
  • Oversee the full spectrum of tenancy management, including tenancy administration, lease matters, property inspections, maintenance and upkeep, tenant communications, and prompt resolution of tenancy-related issues.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance, repair, improvement, and upgrading requirements, and recommend appropriate solutions to the Owner.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor repair, renovation, upgrading, and maintenance works from commencement through to completion, ensuring quality, timelines, and costs are properly managed.
  • Obtain and compare quotations, monitor project costs, and ensure all works are completed within approved budgets and agreed specifications.
  • Monitor contractors' performance and workmanship, ensuring compliance with agreed scope, safety requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Owner on property conditions, tenancy matters, ongoing works, expenditure, and other operational issues.
  • Handle ad-hoc property-related projects and assignments as required by the Owner.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Property Management, Estate Management, Building Management, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in property, estate, facilities, or residential portfolio management, preferably with experience managing multiple properties.
  • Strong knowledge of property maintenance, renovation, upgrading, and building-related works.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the confidence to liaise effectively with property owners, tenants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Willingness to attend to urgent or ad-hoc property matters when required.
