Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Location: Rochester, MN — Hybrid flexibility with attorneys generally working in the office approximately 3 days per week and remotely approximately 2 days per week.
Note: Must have Minnesota Bar admission and 3+ years of directly relevant estate planning and probate/estate administration experience, including the ability to manage matters with limited supervision independently.

Job Description
- Lead estate planning matters and counsel clients on planning strategies based on their goals, assets, and family circumstances.
- Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and other estate planning documents.
- Manage probate and estate administration matters from beginning to completion.
- Advise personal representatives and address issues that arise throughout the administration process.
- Lead client meetings and explain complex legal and tax concepts in a clear, approachable manner.
- Independently manage caseloads, deadlines, priorities, and client communications.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff on challenging matters and participate in weekly attorney case discussions.
- Work within established systems, processes, technology, and support infrastructure to deliver consistent, high-quality legal services.
- Stay current on Minnesota estate planning and probate law and continue developing your legal expertise.
- Build strong client and professional relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
Qualifications
- Minnesota Bar admission.
- 3+ years of estate planning and probate/estate administration experience.
- Experience drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and related estate planning documents.
- Ability to independently manage a caseload with limited supervision.
- Strong legal writing, communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Compassionate, client-focused approach.
- Comfortable using technology and established legal processes.
