The Boeing Company is seeking a motivated Estimating and Pricing Manager located in Everett, WA.

In the role you will lead and develop a team of estimating professionals responsible for government-focused estimating and pricing activities for the various Tanker programs across Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS). Responsibilities include leading the Tanker estimating team with production estimating, Cost Volume Management, change board estimating, material estimating, Pricing & Availability (P&A), Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM)/Not to Exceed (NTE) estimating, and supporting Estimating and Pricing (E&P) process improvements.

They listen actively and communicate clearly, using those skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams. They foster a safe, inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and builds trust across stakeholders. Additionally, they independently drive tasks and initiatives while developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, peers, and direct reports.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensure first-time quality and timely submittal of proposal deliverables

  • Works with senior leadership to acquire resources for projects and proposals

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, audit agencies, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provide guidance, oversight and approval of proposal approaches, products and processes

  • Ensure compliance related to estimating methodologies and processes

  • Possess knowledge of government and company pricing policies and regulations

  • Engage in employee development and coaching

  • Minimal travel on an “as needed” basis domestically

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience in estimating U.S. Government projects

  • 5+ years of experience working on proposals and/or estimates

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience creating compliant proposals with internal quality reviews

  • Experience presenting to management, program managers, and Vice Presidents

Summary Pay Range: $133,450 - $180,550
