Estimating & Engineering Support Technician (Mayville)

Overview

Build Your Career. Make an Impact.

Join our team and take the next step in a career where your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and desire to learn can make a meaningful impact.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, adaptable team member who is eager to learn and contribute across multiple areas of our business. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can rapidly become proficient in our business systems and apply that knowledge across our various divisions.

This position has two primary areas of responsibility: manufacturing data management and product costing.

In the data management portion of the role, you will maintain critical product information within our SAP system. This information supports the manufacturing of products for leading OEM customers such as Caterpillar and Deere, as well as products manufactured under our own brands. You will work closely with Engineering and other departments to create and maintain shop routings and bills of materials (BOMs) for new products. You will also manage product revisions and ensure changes are accurately documented and communicated to the appropriate teams.

The second major focus of the position is product costing. You will review engineering drawings and specifications to determine the manufacturing processes required to produce a product. Working closely with our Tooling and Operations teams, you will identify and capture all applicable costs within our costing system. The resulting information supports both accurate product costing and the development of shop routings and bills of materials.

This is a key position that connects Engineering, Estimating, Operations, Purchasing, Accounting, and other departments to ensure accurate information is available to successfully manufacture our products.
