As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimation & Procurement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes and accurate project estimations.

Job Summary: The Estimation & Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the estimation of project costs and managing the procurement process for infrastructure, steel, and power industry projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating, sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:

  1. Estimation:
    • Conduct detailed project cost estimations for infrastructure, steel, and power projects, considering all relevant factors.
    • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather project requirements and specifications.
    • Analyze and interpret project blueprints and technical documents.
    • Ensure accurate and competitive estimates to secure project bids.
  2. Procurement:
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies for infrastructure, steel, and power projects.
    • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.
    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
    • Monitor and analyze market trends to make informed procurement decisions.
    • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure contracts meet regulatory requirements.
  3. Supplier Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
    • Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular supplier assessments.
    • Address any issues or concerns with suppliers to ensure project success.
  4. Cost Management:
    • Monitor and control project costs throughout the procurement process.
    • Work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate budgeting and cost tracking.
  5. Risk Management:
    • Identify and assess potential risks associated with procurement activities.
    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  6. Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with project management, engineering, and other teams to ensure alignment of procurement activities with project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in estimation and procurement within the infrastructure, steel, and power industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
