Position: Estimator

Mission:

• Provide accurate and timely estimates to customers.
• Analyze plans for potential value engineering opportunities.
• Identify potential liabilities as they relate to SeC products.

Roles & Objectives:

• Produce accurate material takeoffs
• Recognize and identify issues or liabilities and address them quickly
• Perform material takeoffs from drawings to validate design and proposed quantities
• Analyze data and correlate findings to future sales and material needs
• Identify opportunities to expand responsibilities through data trend analysis and competitive insights
• Provide clients with value engineered solutions and prepare value engineered estimates
• Collaborate with Engineering to coordinate value engineering opportunities
• Collaborate with Sales on prioritization and support on time delivery of quotations
• Stay informed on industry changes and participate in water quality related organizations
• Coordinate with other departments regarding takeoffs, load size, delivery distance, etc.
• Collect and organize key documents (plans, blueprints, drawings, specifications) for easy retrieval
• Enter orders for WQU and UGD chambers and sediment ponds
